Red-Eye Removal

The red-eye effect occurs when camera flash reflects off of blood in the retina. This usually happens when pictures are taken at night, as darkness causes photograph subjects' pupils to dilate.

Red-eye reduction is a simple way to improve pictures. To make pupils look human again, select the Red-Eye Reduction tool and outline the subject's eyes. Red pupils will automatically be restored to their natural color.
