Remove White Background

Subjects on white backgrounds are ideal for use in composite images. A white backdrop is quite easy to make transparent so that the subject can be cut out and placed against another background.

If you'll be taking the photographs unassisted, place your subject against a white sheet or wall, and illuminate that background by pointing an additional light source at it.

Next, import the image into Photo Lab and make sure that the background is pure white (255 should show for each RGB value). If it's not, then "white it out" using the command Adjust > Brightness/Contrast.
